In the middle of September this year we had very nice visit from our "avian blood parasites" colleges, from Lithuanian Research Centre, Vilnius.
The visit was organized by the research group of Prof. Gediminas Valkunas. We spent a week together, so we had several nice working days in "Kalimok" biological station.

After couple of days being together we organized a mini conference in the village of Tulenovo (north Black See) where all people from both research groups gave a talk in their own studies. And the young specialists got the opportunity to present their work and results, which gave important feedback.
Vidas Palinauskas and Dimitar Dimitrov were the "chairman" of our two-day conference. |

There were a lot of questions and long discussions during the presentations, which is very difficult at bigger conferences.
